Bon Appetite
Join us for your meals in our covered dining area. We offer breakfast, lunch and dinner carefully prepared on-site by Chef Ouedam. Here is a partial menu of our offerings, please note that all of our dishes are prepared with locally grown ingredients and vary throughout the year.
Breakfast (1000 Fcfa) – Tea/coffee service with milk, served with bread, butter and jam. Omelettes and fruit plates are also available from the menu.
Lunch/Dinner (500-2000 Fcfa) – Rice with sauce, couscous with sauce, ragout, spaghetti, grilled chicken, plat du jour.
With only a short walk to the town center, you also have the option to eat at one of the restaurants or kiosques in town.
Djongo
The Kassena people are very proud of their heritage. There is perhaps no better way to experience this than by witnessing a Djongo performance. Accompanied by traditionally trained musicians, the Djongo dancers will ‘wow’ you with their stamina and intensity as they perform this long-standing tradition. Performances can be arranged in advance through L’Association pour le Developpement de Tiébélé (ADT) by inquiring at the auberge.
